Supporting New Parents: A Different Approach to Pediatric Care
One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been caring for newborns and watching them grow- not just into children, but eventually into parents themselves.
Being part of that journey is truly a privilege.
Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate that every family is different. There is no single “right” way to raise a child.
What matters most is that parents feel informed, supported, and confident in the decisions they make.
That’s why my approach centers on giving parents choices.
We take time to thoughtfully discuss topics such as breastfeeding, nutrition, vaccines, circumcision, sleep habits (including co-sleeping), screen time, diapers, and supplements.
These are important decisions, and they deserve time and careful consideration.
My role is not to impose a one-size-fits-all plan. Instead, I’m here to educate, guide, and support- so that you can make the best decisions for your child and your family.
There is no shame.
There is no guilt.
There is no pressure.
There is time to ask questions, review the pros and cons, and make thoughtful choices.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned over the years is this: parental intuition is powerful.
While medicine provides valuable tools and knowledge, no one knows a child better than their parents.
If you’re expecting or starting a family and are looking for a more personalized, relationship-based approach to care, I’d love to connect with you.
